Designed in Paris, the Mini Paname is the signature piece of the Maison. In Uppeal™, it keeps its clasp and its removable brass chain, in plain black, camel or Burgundy, or with a lizard effect in black, red or blue-gray. The Brigitte, a crossbody bag with a flap, comes in two versions: Couture, entirely in Uppeal™, and Oxymore, where smooth Uppeal™ meets recycled microsuede. The Marilyn pairs Uppeal™ with recycled microsuede or a leopard print. The Kromatik line offers five formats, the Pretty, Jolly, Journey, City and Lively, either combining Uppeal™ with nylon or in full Uppeal™.
Among the small accessories, the Compagnon wallet comes in Couture, with twelve card slots, and in Oxymore, more compact, with eight. The Zipped Card Holder closes with a zip that runs all the way around, holding ten card slots, a bill pocket and a zipped coin pouch. The Coin Purse closes with a rounded flap and a magnetic snap. The collection also includes the Men’s Wallet, in black, navy or brown, and two women’s belts, electric blue and red.
Uppeal™ has been the Maison’s signature material since April 2018. It starts with apple residue from the Italian food industry: the raw material is collected in Bolzano, in northern Italy, then crafted in Florence, in the Florentine tradition of working fine materials. It was formerly known as Apple Skin; in 2023, its maker simply renamed it. When the Maison launched at Veggie World in April 2018, its Eclipse was among the first French handbags in an apple-based material.
Plain Uppeal™ keeps a smooth, satiny surface; the lizard pattern gives each piece its own shifting sheen. Each model is designed in Paris, and each product page lists the lining composition. A damp cloth, with a little soap if needed, is all Uppeal™ requires; avoid chemical products. The lizard-effect pieces are gathered in the Lizard collection, and several of these shapes also come in a bamboo-based material.
