Journey

A Friday evening, a bag packed without a second thought and closed with a single zipper: the Journey carries travel in its very name: it is the Kromatik line’s weekend bag. It carries the line’s origami silhouette and faceted fox pull tab on the most generous volume of the line.

Florence is where tradition and innovation meet. Uppeal™ is crafted there from apple residue, in the Florentine tradition of working fine materials; on the Journey, it dresses the base and the panels. The protective Uppeal™ base shields the bottom of the bag when it is set down and keeps its shape, even when full, while the nylon body gives way to whatever is packed inside.

The Journey currently comes in Caramel, a tan that suits a winter coat as well as summer linen. It exists only in the Uppeal™ and nylon version: nylon for the body, Uppeal™ for the base and panels. Inside, a zipped pocket keeps apart what should stay separate, a second pocket holds what comes out often, and the rest of the volume is left to two days of belongings.

The Journey is crafted in our Chinese partner workshop. Dimensions and lining are listed on its product page.
