A signature piece from Maison Ashoka, the Mini Paname Bamboo Sand carries the compact format and the emblematic clasp of the Paname line. A beige clutch cut from an exclusive plant-based material, bamboo, developed in Florence.

It takes a phone, a card holder and a lipstick, and not much more, which is rather the point.

The brass chain, in a gold finish, wears long across the body or doubled on the shoulder; unhooked from its clasps, the Mini Paname sits in the hand like a clutch. Inside, a sand recycled microsuede lining and one zipped pocket keep the everyday essentials in place.

Bamboo does not behave like apple: the surface keeps a drier, more matte grain, which the sand tone turns almost mineral.

Wipe with a soft cloth, barely dampened with clean water, then dry immediately with a clean, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, a very mild soap, applied locally, never by soaking.

Wipe up spills without delay. The material is water-resistant on the surface but not waterproof: never immerse it. If your piece gets wet, dry it promptly, away from any heat source.

Do not apply any conditioner or protector intended for animal leather, no solvent, no alcohol, no stain remover, no abrasive product.

Store your piece dry, at room temperature and away from light, stuffed to hold its shape, in its cotton dust bag. Prolonged heat and humidity are what damage a coated material most surely.
