A piece of the Couture line, the Compagnon Couture Bamboo Sand reinterprets the writing in a rare material: bamboo, worked in Florence, traced by the same raised topstitch inherited from saddlery.

The bamboo-based material holds a luminous sand tone and a matte hand. This is the larger of the two Compagnons: twelve card slots, six compartments including two for notes, a zipped coin pocket and two patch pockets.

Inside, the sand lining carries on into sand nylon compartments, as on the Brigitte Couture Bamboo Sand bag it pairs with. Sand is its lightest expression, the one you find at a glance in an open bag.

Wipe with a soft cloth, barely dampened with clean water, then dry immediately with a clean, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, a very mild soap, applied locally, never by soaking.

Wipe up spills without delay. The material is water-resistant on the surface but not waterproof: never immerse it. If your piece gets wet, dry it promptly, away from any heat source.

Do not apply any conditioner or protector intended for animal leather, no solvent, no alcohol, no stain remover, no abrasive product.

Store your piece dry, at room temperature and away from light, stuffed to hold its shape, in its cotton dust bag. Prolonged heat and humidity are what damage a coated material most surely.
