Winter in Paris asks a lot of a jacket: warmth on a frosty morning, a clean line at dinner, nothing bulky in between. Our jackets start from there, and they are made in the city. Vegan fur is first a matter of warmth and touch here, before it is a conviction: it lines the body of a jacket or makes up a whole piece, with nothing of animal origin.
The Roland takes the aviator silhouette: a roomy, relaxed fit, an adjustable collar, ribbed cuffs and waistband. Dense vegan fur lines the body and sleeves. It closes with a YKK zipper and has a vertical zip pocket, two snap pockets, and two inside pockets. In black, the fur and ribbing are black. Sizes run from S to XXL, and it fits true to size.
The Vickie for women has a closer cut. Its recycled microsuede is 61% recycled polyester and 39% polyester; the body is lined with vegan fur, and the top of the collar is vegan fur. Black ribbing gathers the cuffs and waist, a zipper closes the front, and two slanted patch pockets complete it. It comes in camel, lined with brown fur, and in black, lined with black fur, from XS to L, and runs small. Inside, a label shows rue Monge, an exclusive drawing by the artist Adé. The Roland and the Vickie are each designed and made in Paris, in a Parisian workshop.
The Sophie cropped jacket, for its part, is all fur: white short-pile vegan fur, a round neckline fastened with a discreet hook, three-quarter sleeves, and a full lining. One size, it suits the in-between seasons as well as cool winter evenings. Handcrafted in Paris by Maison Quivernay, our sister house devoted to vegan fur, it is made to order, like our made-to-order coats. The Joséphine and Suzon scarves round out our vegan fur pieces.
