We are a committed Parisian family, united by a desire to challenge the status quo in fashion and consumption. With Ashoka Paris , we want to prove that another world is possible: a world where luxury and the finest materials meet eco-responsibility , veganism , and respect for all living things .

A MEANINGFUL FAMILY TAKEOVER

Since November 2024, Patrick has been running Ashoka Paris alongside his children, Nathanael and Abigael . An entrepreneur at heart, passionate about IT and a fervent advocate for the environment, Patrick has been managing a parquet flooring company in Paris for over 30 years—a company committed to sustainability, dedicated to forest protection and responsible product traceability . He also heads a web development agency. His experience, business acumen, and environmental commitment are giving the brand a new lease on life.

Nathanael , his eldest son, joined the adventure after studying engineering and business. Specializing in the ecological transition of cities , he gained experience through concrete projects of sustainable urban transformation. Today, he brings a strategic, innovative, and resolutely forward-looking vision to the brand's development.

Abigael , a lifelong fashion enthusiast, is the creative force in the family. Always on the lookout for new trends, she embodies Parisian elegance and ethics. Ashoka Paris is her platform for expression, fueled by a deep desire to create desirable and sustainable fashion.

A CONTINUITY WITH THE FOUNDERS

The family remains very close to the original founders, Frédéric and Gwenaëlle , who continue to guide the brand towards its ambitions.

Together for over 10 years, they conceived the idea for Ashoka Paris in 2017. The project was launched in April 2018 at Veggie World , and then came to fruition thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on KissKissBankBank . This launch allowed them to present their very first collection: timeless, refined bags and accessories, embodying a 100% Parisian and 100% cruelty-free spirit.

Gwenaëlle , an animal lover deeply moved by the actions of L214, chose a vegetarian and then vegan lifestyle. Realizing how difficult it was to find beautiful leather-free bags, she had the idea to create a brand aligned with her values.

Frédéric , a passionate and creative entrepreneur, contributed his expertise in web development, entrepreneurship, and even the design of Ashoka Paris's first models. Having been made aware of animal welfare issues by Gwenaëlle, he became fully committed to the project.
