Refund policy

At Maison Ashoka, we want every piece to find its place. If it does not, here is how returns and refunds work.

1. Right of withdrawal

You have fourteen (14) days from receipt of your order to inform us that you wish to return an item.

This statutory right applies to orders placed from within the European Union, under articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. For orders placed from outside the European Union, we accept returns within the same fourteen (14) day period, as a commercial gesture.

2. Return conditions

Items must be returned:

• In new condition, unworn, unwashed and undamaged.
• In their original packaging (box, dust bag and padding included).
• With all protective elements intact (clasps, accessories, soles).
• Shoes must have been tried on indoors only.

If an item shows depreciation resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning, a deduction proportionate to that depreciation may be applied to the refund.

3. How to return an item

To start a return, write to contact@ashokaparis.com with your order number. We will send you the procedure.

• Mainland France, Corsica, Monaco and Andorra: returns are free. A prepaid label is sent by email.
• European Union: return shipping is at the customer's expense. A prepaid label can be provided on request, and its cost is deducted from the refund.
• French overseas territories: return shipping is at the customer's expense.
• Countries outside the European Union: return shipping is at the customer's expense, using the carrier of their choice.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, no prepaid return label can be provided. The customer arranges and pays for the shipment and any re-import customs formalities. These costs may represent a significant share of the item's value.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued within fourteen (14) days at the latest, from either the receipt of the returned item or the provision of proof of shipment by the customer, whichever comes first.

The refund is made to the original payment method. Where payment was made in instalments through Alma, remaining instalments are cancelled or recalculated accordingly.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges on ashokaparis.com. For a different size, color or model, return the item for a refund and place a new order.

On some partner marketplaces, notably Zebra Vegan Shop, exchanges are available directly through their own platform.

6. Archives items

Items in the Archives category come from our photo shoots or exhibitions, or show minor cosmetic imperfections. They are offered at a reduced price and sold as is.

They are covered by the statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects, and remain eligible for the fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal for orders placed from within the European Union. The one-year commercial guarantee does not apply to Archives items.

7. Manufacturing defects

If an item arrives with a manufacturing defect or does not match its description, Maison Ashoka covers the return costs in full, anywhere in the world.

• Photographs of the defect, overall view and affected areas, in natural light

You benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity (two years, European Union), the warranty against hidden defects, and the one-year Maison Ashoka commercial guarantee against manufacturing defects, applicable worldwide.
