Handmade in Portugal, from bio-sourced and recycled materials, the Matéo is an ethical and eco-responsible tennis shoe.

It was designed by our designer David Matéo, and is the result of his expertise acquired over 20 years in the footwear industry.

Shoes with a fitted design, if you are hesitating between 2 sizes, we advise you to choose the larger of the two.

Outside

Grained exterior details:

• PETA-approved Italian grained bio-based material made from vegetable oil from non-edible, GMO-free grains
• Composition: 31% Viscose / 51.06% Cereals / 17.94% Polyurethane

Faux suede:

• Microsuede panels made from recycled polyester (61%).

Smooth outer material:

• PETA-approved, smooth Italian bio-based material made from vegetable oil from non-edible, GMO-free grains
• Composition: 31% Cotton / 53.04% Cereal / 14.96% Polyurethane

Outsole:

• Recycled sole made in Portugal.
• Its "cup sole" shape gives the sneaker a clean line.
• Assembly : Strobel which offers flexibility and resistance
• Color : black
• Laces : flat waxed cotton, for a touch of elegance.
• Eyelets : black

Interior

Inner lining:

• Innovative onSteam® material is breathable, antibacterial, eco-friendly and recyclable.

Removable insole:

• Injected for even more comfort and lightness. It perfectly fits the shape of the arch of the foot.
• Removable, it can be replaced by an orthopedic sole, if necessary.
