BIOSOURCED

A bio-sourced material is made from renewable plant resources , such as apples , wheat or corn, without using materials of animal or fossil origin. At Ashoka Paris , we select innovative bio-sourced materials that combine performance , aesthetics and respect for living things .

CRUELTY-FREE

This term means that no form of animal cruelty is involved in the manufacturing process . This includes the complete absence of animal testing, from the development of raw materials to the finished product. All Ashoka Paris products are certified Cruelty-free and strictly adhere to this ethical commitment.

ETHICS

In our approach, an ethical product is designed with respect for human rights , animal welfare and the environment . This includes responsible production, transparency on materials , and the exclusion of any animal suffering.

MYLO™️

The Mylo is an innovative material created from the underground part of the Mycelium mushroom . It mimics the look and feel of leather, without any animal material. Our Mylo products have a mushroom content of over 85%. Ashoka Paris is one of the few brands exploring this promising material.

RECYCLED PET

Recycled PET is a material obtained from plastic waste , particularly bottles. At Ashoka Paris , it is notably used for our linings : a sustainable solution that combines resistance , lightness and ecological awareness .

PETA APPROVED

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals ( PETA ) is an international animal rights organization. Ashoka Paris is PETA-Approved Vegan , a symbol of our commitment to this cause.

UPPEAL™

Also known as Apple-skin , Uppeal™ is a vegan material made from apple waste from the food industry . It offers a sustainable alternative to animal leather. At Ashoka Paris , we use Uppeal™ for its aesthetic qualities , flexibility and reduced impact. We were the first in France to offer you a bag made from this innovative material .

VEGAN

A vegan product does not contain any material of animal origin (leather, glue, wool, etc.) and has not exploited any animal in its development or marketing process (laboratory tests, degradation of the natural habitat, etc.). At Ashoka Paris , all our items are 100% vegan , from the choice of raw materials to final manufacturing.
