Mylo

Mycelium is the underground structure of mushrooms, the network of filaments that runs beneath the soil. Grown and then transformed, it yields a supple, matte and light material. Over five thousand iterations were needed to reach its hand.

A card holder sits a few centimeters from the eye, several times a day: it is the piece where a material is judged. The edges are painted in a contrasting tone, a workshop detail that shows only up close and runs across all three formats.
