A crossbody piece from the maison Ashoka, the Marilyn Uppeal™ & recycled microsuede Black is recognisable by its rounded flap and its mechanical clasp, drawn for it alone by a French house.

Uppeal™, a plant-based material made from apple residue, forms the body of the bag; a recycled microsuede dresses the central panels. Its strap adjusts and comes away; it is worn crossbody, over the shoulder or in the hand.

Inside, the powder-pink lining lifts the space, and three compartments and two pockets order the essentials. Black is its most restrained writing, the one that lets the clasp speak.

Wipe with a soft cloth, barely dampened with clean water, then dry immediately with a clean, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, a very mild soap, applied locally, never by soaking.

Wipe up spills without delay. The material is water-resistant on the surface but not waterproof: never immerse it.

Do not apply any conditioner or protector intended for animal leather, no solvent, no alcohol, no stain remover, no abrasive product.

Store your piece dry, at room temperature and away from light, stuffed to hold its shape, in its dust bag. Prolonged heat and humidity are what damage a coated material most surely.
