For our creations, we wanted the best professionals and the finest materials, with "perfection", "respect for the environment" and "ethics" as our guiding principles.
- UPPEAL & ECO-NAPPA MADE IN ITALY -
The factory founded by our UPPEAL supplier is located about twenty kilometers from Florence in Italy . UPPEAL is a material created by coagulating polyurethane and organic matter from apples.
UPPEAL is a bio-based and innovative material. It is produced from apples ( waste) that grow in the orchards of Bolzano, in northern Italy. Dried and ground into powder, it is sent to the factory in Florence for processing.
The cereal- based material we use in the manufacture of our shoes is produced in a factory located on the outskirts of Milan .
- OUR FIVE MANUFACTURING WORKSHOPS -
We work with 5 manufacturing workshops .
All our products, bags, accessories, shoes and clothing are handmade by skilled workers in human-sized workshops, where ethics, innovation and employee well-being are central to their concerns.
Three are located in Portugal , two for bags and accessories , one for shoes .
A workshop in France , located in Paris, which makes our jackets and coats .
Our historic leather goods manufacturing workshop is located in Thailand .
Today, approximately 70% of our production is European.
It is important for us to produce the majority of our articles in Europe, but maintaining a presence in Thailand is a real asset, both in terms of know-how and the modernity of the tools and techniques used.
And when possible, we manufacture the items, especially the clothing, in France, in Paris. Of course, this is truly "Made in France," not just " assembled in France ." We are committed to 100% French manufacturing.
We build real relationships with the suppliers who support us, we know them, we regularly visit them to monitor our production.
Each bag or accessory made in the factory is inspected, which guarantees us consistent quality.
- "CUSTOM-MADE" CLASPS -
We have approached a French family business ( located in the Yonne department) which, for 3 generations, has been creating, developing and producing metal accessories for the biggest leather goods and ready-to-wear brands.
Our partner works from our drawings and sketches. He studies and defines the technical constraints related to the operation of the part.
He then creates a 2D drawing which will be followed by 3D printing. Then comes the final step, the fabrication of the custom-made brass part, in order to mount it on the bag during the prototyping phase.
