Paname is Paris at its most intimate, the nickname Parisians give their city when they speak of it quietly, among themselves. The Mini Paname is the most everyday expression of the Paname line: seven colors conceived as a wardrobe, three of them in lizard, the most expressive part of the palette.
The signature piece of Maison Ashoka, the Mini Paname keeps its signature clasp and removable brass chain in lizard, worn single as a crossbody, doubled on the shoulder, or removed to carry the bag in hand. The Mini Paname Uppeal™ Lizard Black pairs a gun metal chain and clasp, which deepen its relief, with a powder-pink lining. The Mini Paname Uppeal™ Lizard Red, the boldest of the three, softens at the opening with the same powder pink. The Mini Paname Uppeal™ Lizard Blue Gray wears the pattern in a half-tone, answered by a burgundy lining. These last two come in varnished nickel.
The Zipped Card Holder takes up the same three colors. Its zipper runs all the way around the piece: no flap, no clasp, no bulk in a pocket, its only relief a pull tab custom-designed for Ashoka Paris. Inside, ten card slots, two compartments for identity documents, a bill pocket and a zipped coin pocket. The Zipped Card Holder Uppeal™ Lizard Black has a gun metal finish, Lizard Red and Lizard Blue Gray a varnished nickel finish.
Beneath the pattern, one material: Uppeal™, crafted in Florence from apple residue, in the Florentine tradition of working fine materials. Designed in Paris, the six pieces are crafted in our Thai partner workshop, dedicated exclusively to bags and accessories, where each piece is shaped from cutting to finishing. Each product page lists the lining composition. The Mini Paname and the Zipped Card Holder also come in plain Uppeal™ and in bamboo-based material.
